Sportswear brand Protest was born in 1993, brought about by a group of Dutch snowboarders with a mission “to help everyone ride more”.
How? By creating fashionable, affordable clothing for snowboarders and surfers.
And now it’s 30!
Thirty years on and Protest has evolved from just board sports, creating ski (as well as snowboard) kit, outdoor wear (fleeces, jackets, thermals and mid-layers), beachwear, cycling gear, loungewear and everyday clothes, for toddlers, kids, men and women. The whole kit and caboodle.

A word from Caroline Dekker, the owner of Protest:
“It’s great to look back over the last 30 years and see how far we’ve come. Our vision has always been to inspire people to push their limits and passion for sport and adventure. We would like to thank our customers, suppliers and team members for their trust and loyalty. We look forward to the future of Protest Sportswear with great enthusiasm, where we remain committed to designing innovative and sustainable collections to suit the active lifestyle of our customers.”
