SALOMON ADDIKT PRO 76 ♂️

£780 including bindings

Lengths: 156, 163, 170, 177cm
Radius: 14.0m @ 170cm
Dimensions: 125-76-109mm
Weight per ski: 1,900g @ 170cm without binding

Piste Ski of the Year 2025 Salomon Addict Pro

THEY SAY
Salomon’s newest Addikt Pro 76 will instantly leave you craving for more. Playful, fresh, and progressive, it features the innovative Motion Tail technology and a 76mm waist, perfect for mixing short and long turns and charging down with confidence, whatever the snow conditions.

WE SAY
The new Addikt Pro 76 is 10mm wider underfoot than the original Addikt Pro and has rocker through the shovel, yet it still delivers superb bite and grip on firm snow, with a more versatile personality. This makes it superb for skiers who want something that can rip down the piste with the best of them, yet doesn’t punish you if you’ve not brought your A-game.

BEST FOR
Intermediates who have started to play with carving, right through to advanced-level skiers who want a ski that’ll perform when they’re skiing hard without being punishing on cruisy days. The rise in the front, and moderate width, means the Addikt Pro 76 also leans over the fence to the all-mountain herd, allowing you to nip off the sides.

ROSSIGNOL NOVA 10‍♀️

£627 including bindings

Lengths: 156, 163, 169cm
Radius: 12.0m @ 163cm
Dimensions: 130-75-112mm
Weight per ski: 1,600g @ 163cm without binding

Piste Ski of the Year 2025 Rossignol Nova 10

THEY SAY
Women skiers embody femininity and style, but they are also determined and daring skiers; Nova is as intuitive and subtle as they are… until they step on the gas.

WE SAY
While the Nova 14 sits at the top of the women’s piste ski range for Rossignol, the Nova 10 delivers such power, precision, finesse, and energy that we’re not sure why you’d want to spend the extra £100 to get the 14.

BEST FOR
The Nova 10 ideally suits advanced and expert skiers who are comfortable carving at moderate (or higher) speed. If you’re happy carving red runs, the Nova 10 has to sit close to the top of your short list of skis to consider. If you’re an upper intermediate and prefer a powerful ski, then this could be a great choice too. If you’re light or less aggressive, the Nova 8 is the prime choice. Tamsin came in beaming from her blast on the Nova 8: “It’s responsive for short turns and very dependable when carving and holding the line at speed. I slowed it right down, and it felt strong and dependable. A good all-rounder for piste precision.”

ROSSIGNOL FORZA 40° V-CA ♂️

£500 including bindings

Piste Ski of the Year 2025 Rossignol Forza 40 V-CA

WE SAY
Last season, the Forza 60 won one of our coveted Editors’ Choice awards, but this season the Forza 40 is wearing the medallion. It’s a fantastic ski for those who aren’t fixated on getting hip-ticklingly low to the snow. The Forza 40 still delivers plenty of grip, but is less fatiguing to ski and has a more versatile turn profile.

VÖLKL FLAIR SC‍♀️

£680 including bindings

Piste Ski of the Year 2025 Volkl Flair SC

Lengths: 153, 158, 163cm
Radius: 12.9m @ 158cm
Dimensions: 124-73-102mm
Weight per ski: 2,642g @ 158cm with binding

THEY SAY
The carving dream on prepped slopes for the active female skier. The Flair SC comes with a subtle tip rocker and a thin layer of steel. This makes it impressively manoeuvrable and very sporty, agile, and easy to control.

WE SAY
The Flair SC is a proven piste performer, sporting a new graphic for this coming winter. Despite the Slalom Carve initials, it’s not just a tight-turn machine.

BEST FOR
The ideal placement is under the boot of an advanced-level skier, wanting grip and performance without the race-like workout that can accompany stronger skis. If you don’t want something quite as punchy, plump for the Flair MT. Expert-level skiers could go for the Flair SC Carbon, which has the Tailored Carbon Tip tech and boasts Völkl’s multi-layer wood core.
