Cliffs, spins and some sizeable airs from up and coming British freeride skier Sam Allen in Treble Cone, New Zealand
When spring comes around and the Alps and North America start to melt, skiers have two choices: hang up the boots and sweat through another summer of bbq’s and Pimm’s (ok that actually doesn’t sound so bad), or head south in search of snowier climes.
Up and coming Brit freerider Sam Allen did just that, shipping out to Treble Cone New Zealand in the hunt for endless winter. Seems like he had a pretty good time too – other than a fairly brutal crash in the The North Face Frontier 4* FWQ comp anywhere (it’s all in the video for your vicarious viewing pleasure) anyway. This is his recap from the season, filmed by Louis Charnaud.
