At a width underfoot that could easily place it in the Freeride category, the brilliant Enforcer 93 almost predictably claims the ‘best off-piste all-mountain ski’ gong. We’ve loved the Enforcer models since they first came out, and every low-intensity tweak by Nordica has increased their appeal. Lighter, softer noses came out last season and eased the powerful Enforcer’s turn-in, without losing any of the granite-hewn edge grip.

 

        

Tester Lee Hardy had skied it last season too, and jumped straight into the groove, saying:

“It’s stable and grippy thoughtout the entire length of the ski. With a low rocker and traditional camber it felt a solid performer but gave good float in deeper conditions.

 

“The 93 preferred more open turns but would make a comfortable all-day freeride ski, feeling especially good at medium to high speeds on medium to long radius turns. I skied it in a slightly longer length than I would normally ski – usually I prefer a shorter ski and a more nimble feel underfoot – but actually the longer length performed well.”

 

The 100 underfoot model can certainly be skied all over the hill but the 93 is sweeter and still delivers good lift despite being mostly cambered and requiring some effort to bend into a nice curve. It delivers that classic ‘GS everywhere’ performance with a modern twist.

The Enforcer 93 doesn’t give its goods up instantly but within a couple of runs you’ve worked it out. It also works for a wide ability and weight mix; the beautifully dialled combination of construction, width and flex perfectly rewards input and effort with feedback and fun.
