Lightweight construction and slalom-style sidecut make this ski nimble and easy to turn. The 10 sits slap bang in the middle of the Intense range for women and is aimed at ladies looking for smooth cruising around resort but who might be looking to push their performance.
What sets this ski above the rest in the intermediate category is that it felt responsive at all speeds, making it an ideal companion for progression. I was impressed at how this ski was able to hold its edge when asked to ramp up the speed and perform on a steep, firm piste. The 12m radius had me pinging from turn to turn and they held up well in bumpy conditions too.
The Intense 10 features Dynastar’s improved Active Air Core technology, which is basically an injection of low-density air bubbles to reduce the overall weight. Amazingly, the ski retains its liveliness and rebound despite being full of air!
I liked the navy top sheet with its pink flashes but it comes in a white version too. To sum up, a stable and confidence-inspiring ride that’s capable of taking you to new levels as you develop your performance on the piste.
