Yes, you read that right. After months of legal disputes regarding Park City’s lease from neighbouring Canyons, the resort has been sold to Vail Resorts for $182 million.
Vail Resorts have said that they intend to connect Park City and Canyons (which they also own) to make a jumbo ski area of over 7,000 acres. In the meantime, Park City has joined the Epic Pass, which includes 13 US resorts, plus five days in France’s 3 Valleys, Switzerland’s Verbier, Niseko, Japan. Phew.
