COVID-19 may have put a pandemic shaped spanner in the graduation plans of many young folks the world over but at least these lucky students from the Seven Summits Centre for Learning in Canada had a ceremony to remember.
On the 18th of June 2020, six lucky 7S grads from the Seven Summits Centre for Learning (a not-for-profit high school based in Rossland, BC) were whisked down the summit of Red Mountain on the iconic Red Chair to receive their diplomas waiting for them at the bottom, followed by a celebration on the base lodge deck.
RED mountain ski resort stepped in to host this extra special Covid-friendly graduation ceremony so that its local grads wouldn’t miss out on a fabulous rite of passage.
Great work everyone!
