In tribute to Aaron McLean: his stunning British Freeride film Late

In memory of Scottish freerider Aaron McLean, here he is in the brilliant LATE, a film which celebrates Scotland’s backcountry terrain

26-year-old freeskier Aaron McLean passed away while coaching young skiers in La Rosiere, France, last week.

A talented freerider, Aaron had competed on the Freeride World Tour and founded British Freeride as well as starring in LATE, which tells the story of a young group of British skiers and boarders who set out on an adventure in the Scottish highlands.

Our thoughts go out to his family, friends and long-term girlfriend Amy.
