Freestyle lovers, this is your jam! The Jibworx bus is going to be popping off with a crew of pro skiers and snowboarders throwing down on the mobile slope. Get right up close to the action and even get involved. Whether you’re a seasoned park rider or just fancy seeing if you’ve got what it takes slide on anything but snow, the open comp is where you can take centre stage and measure up against some of the UK’s top talent.
2. Crystal Beginners Slope
Got a mate, a partner, or maybe kids who still need convincing that skiing is the best thing ever? Here’s your chance! The Crystal Beginners Slope is offering free taster sessions, where first timers can give skiing or snowboarding a try under the guidance of expert instructors. And yes, it’s completely free. Time to convert your loved ones into lifelong ski addicts and ensure they’re game to hit the slopes this winter.
3. Hang out with the RAF
Did you know the Royal Air Force has its own Nordic ski team? This year, the RAF is bringing a slice of their all-action winter world for you to check out. Think: laser biathlon rifles, roller skis, and plenty of inspiration to switch things up from the Alpine scene.
