For the Love of Winter, Arc’teryx presents…
Yours Truly, a visual love letter to winter, penned by pro skier Cole Richardson. Filmed in the heart of BC backcountry, this short film captures the hunt for powder, pillows, and lines through the lens of Cole’s signature creativity and style.
Set in the Westfjords of Iceland, where mountains meet the sea, Creation Theory explores ultimate human expression: a surfer on a wave, a snowboarder on a peak, a musician on a stage. This film seeks to find the parallels between sport and music, and answer the question: where does creativity come from?
In Unfinished Business, Greg Hill is not accustomed to failing. But he’s had a goal to summit and ski all 20 peaks along the classic Spearhead Traverse — the place his ski touring career began — in a single day for 20 years. At 47, with three attempts in the past and recent health issues in the present, Greg might not be as fast as he once was, but he’s as determined as ever. Will that be enough?
Ride along with friends new and old on a coastal road trip through the remote fjords of northwest Norway in Good Medicine. From surfing in icy waters to freeriding the high mountains, this sometimes challenging, sometimes triumphant journey will force these athletes to reflect on who they are and how to live in the moment.
Finally, Balkan Express is a documentary capturing the challenging journey home for mountaineers Max Kroneck and Jochen Mesle. Travelling exclusively by bike and ski, the pair traverse over 2, 500km and 10 degrees of latitude through the Balkans, exploring some of the wildest mountains in Europe, looking for the most beautiful ski runs and meeting locals along the way.
